Quick Program Summary

Quick Program Summary

Everything you need to know in about a minute — warm, simple, and straight to the point.

Choosing child care is a big decision. This quick summary gives you a feel for the program in about a minute — no need to read the full handbook yet.

A calm, caring place to grow

Mrs. Victoria's Home Daycare is a warm home daycare in Kemptville where children feel safe, known, and genuinely cared for. Days are built around play, outdoor time, gentle routines, and real connection — so children can explore, build confidence, and grow at their own pace.

ECE-style programming, small home feel

Mrs. Victoria's Home Daycare offers ECE-style programming with the warmth of a small home daycare — the structure of an early learning program with the comfort of home. Children don't just "play all day" — they learn through planned, meaningful, play-based experiences.

Children enjoy daily reading, books of the week, music, art, sensory play, outdoor exploration, weekly dance, weekly science, ABC's, counting, name practice, independence routines, and school-readiness activities.

What Makes the Program Special

Small Home Daycare Setting

Children are cared for in a cozy home environment where they can build trust, feel comfortable, and receive consistent care.

ECE-Informed Care

Victoria Burman graduated with her Early Childhood Education diploma in 2018 and brings experience supporting children in learning environments.

Play-Based Learning

Children learn through stories, art, music, sensory play, building, pretend play, movement, nature, and open-ended exploration.

Daily Outdoor Play

Outdoor time is an important part of the program. Children are encouraged to move, explore, and enjoy nature when weather conditions are safe.

Meals and Snacks Included

Lunch and two snacks are provided daily unless otherwise arranged. Parents provide bottles, formula, breast milk, or specialty feeding items when needed.

Clear Parent Communication

Families receive clear policies, organized onboarding, and open communication so expectations are understood from the beginning.
